The Island of Newgrange, Co. Meath, IRELANTIS

The triple spiral is at the core of The Island of Newgrange. My aim was to picture a vortex connecting the different realms which Newgrange suggests. I always wanted to use this view looking directly into the chamber. I love the impossible perspective which throws one's gaze both vertically up and down.
